Mid-America Christian University (MACU) is premiering the first complete digital marketing degree program in Oklahoma. While other universities offer courses related to digital marketing, MACU’s degree offers an all-encompassing approach. The bachelor’s degree program is available to students nationwide online.
Engelaer, who helped design the program, has been a force in the industry since the early 2000s. Before her position at MACU, she led digital lead strategy for Microsoft in Seattle.
“The courses in this degree program reflect my experiences working in digital,” Engelaer said.
The program’s curriculum covers everything from marketing tactics to analytics. Digital marketing channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn, are closely studied. Best practices for SEO are discussed along with other digital tactics.
